Different Shot Locations (Mise-en-scene)

Chester Zoo:
We got a variety of different shots from Chester Zoo this was done on Mary Ward Day. The main two shots which were used in the video were of the lake and the butterfly.

Bedroom:
This was used mainly throughout the whole of the video as it was mainly based in there, as she is remembering the past and now spends most of her time in there because of the state she is in. Also she reflects back on her past memories.

Bridge-
This is part of her flashbacks and memories with him being together and then all of sudden she is by herself without him wrapping his arms around.

Manchester Arndale-
Maria is dressed as a fairy; this is to show her innocence as she is dressed in all white and with wings. She is also at a very high point and she takes a glimpse down, this ironically looks as though she is looking at her problems and troubles in life.

Classroom-
This was of the projector shot, we thought this would be a very unique shot and very creative as it shows the different colours. It’s also a very imaginative idea of how to reflect back on her memories.

Restaurant-
Her boyfriend is spending time with another girl gone to dine put with her however because she wants to see how he is she tries ringing him and he ends up seeing she’s ringing so rejects the call.
